Home Visit Policy for Dental Consultation

Purpose

Dental Clinic BATTEESEE is committed to providing high-quality dental care to our patients, including those who are unable to visit our clinic due to emergency or mobility issues. This Home Visit Policy outlines the terms and conditions for our dental professionals to provide emergency dental consultations and treatment at a patient’s home.

Eligibility

  • Emergency patients who require immediate dental attention and are unable to visit the clinic
  • Elderly patients who are unable to leave their homes due to mobility issues or other health conditions
  • Patients with disabilities or chronic conditions that make it difficult for them to visit the clinic

Scope of Services

  • Emergency dental consultations and treatment
  • Limited to non-invasive procedures, such as:
    • Pain management
    • Temporary restorations
    • Emergency extractions (if necessary) in case of mobile teeth and in patients with no compromised conditions  

Terms and Conditions

  • Home visits will be conducted by a licensed dentist or dental professional
  • Patients must provide a safe and clean environment for the dental professional to work in
  • Patients must have a caregiver or family member present during the visit
  • The dental professional reserves the right to determine the feasibility of providing treatment in a home setting

Limitations of Liability

  • The dental professional and the Clinic is not liable for any complications or adverse reactions that may occur during or after the home visit
  • The patient is responsible for ensuring the dental professional’s safety and well-being during the visit

Fees and Payment

  • A fee will be charged for home visits, which may vary depending on the complexity of the procedure and the location of the patient
  • Payment for consultation to be paid prior for confirmation of the visit.
  • Aany treatment done will be charged before the treatment is conducted after the consent by the patient and /or the patient attendant. 

Cancellation Policy

  • Patients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a home visit
  • Failure to provide adequate notice may result in forfeit of appointment charges.

Patient Consent

  • By requesting a home visit, patients consent to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy
  • Patients must provide informed consent for any treatment or procedure performed during the home visit
